Bethan has a passion for helping people to help themselves through a range of techniques from lifestyle and postural advice to exercise and fitness routines.  Bethan enjoys helping people of all ages and has completed post-graduate training in the specific techniques required to care for pregnant women, babies and children.

Bethan joined the Chiropractic world at a young age, when her family used to visit their Chiropractor for regular adjustments.  Her interest in the profession grew as she saw first-hand the amazing results Chiropractic can achieve. She trained at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and graduated with a Masters degree (Distinction).

Bethan has completed post-graduate training courses in Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), a gentle technique that can be effective for patients of all ages, shapes and sizes.

Bethan also works with the relationship between spinal alignment and muscle tightness.  She addresses any imbalance through soft tissue work and by prescribing home exercises.

Bethan has completed post-graduate training in Medical Acupuncture / Dry Needling and uses this for some patients to complement their Chiropractic care.

Healthcare Tips

Look After Your Hamstrings!

Your hamstrings are the muscles at the back of your thighs that help flex the knees and extend the hips. In some people, this group can be very tight which restricts the pelvic movement - this in turn increases the stress on the lumbar spine which causes dysfunctional movement. There are researched links between the the length of the hamstring group and lower back pain. Stretch!!
